“Untitled Track 18” by Jaik was a big pleasant surprise to me. His artistry and lyricism is similar to the genuine lyricism of artists like “Jcole” and “Kendrick Lamar.” The song starts out with a small speech from a pastor which transcends into the artist spitting his truth. Jaik has the potential to be a mainstream A-list musician with the correct exposure. His song was very memorable to me and one of those hits that you would replay and listen to constantly. The talent he possesses is remarkable. Without knowing the artist you learned a bit about him based off this one song, which is an important factor for a new upcoming artist to really show their new listeners.
